Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Our one-day Crew Resource Management (CRM) training course focuses on the effective use of all the remote crew to assure a safe and efficient operation, reducing error, avoiding stress and increasing efficiency. This course is designed specifically to meet the needs of UAS operators with multi-crew operations and incorporates the best CRM learnings from the mainstream aviation industry and applies them to the UAS operations context.

Prerequisites
No previous experience required however a basic understanding of UAS operations is desirable.

General VLOS Certificate (GVC)
As a CAA Recognised Assessment Entity (RAE), this course is approved by the CAA and successful completion culminates in the CAA GVC. This certificate is a pre-requisite for any Remote Pilot who wants to conduct flights in the Specific Category, including PDRA01 (which allows for UAVs up to 25kg to be flown within 150 metres of any residential, commercial, industrial, or recreational area). During the course trainees also receive coaching in the development of their own Operations Manual.

What does the course cover
This professional course runs over 3 days. Days 1 & 2 cover the theoretical side of UAS operations including
- Air Law/responsibilities
- UAS Airspace Operating Principles
- Airmanship and Aviation Safety
- Human Factors
- Meteorology
- Navigation/Charts
- Aircraft Knowledge
- Operating Procedures
At the end of day 2, trainees complete a multi-choice exam. Day 3 begins with coaching on development of your own Operations Manual in support of your PDRA01 authorisation and ends with a practical flight assessment at our dedicated flying field at the aerodrome.

Prerequisites
Trainees must have a CAA Flyer ID and at least 2 hours flight time on the category of UAS that the GVC will be for (multi-rotor or fixed wing)
